Thank you for your interest in volunteering for INDYCAR at Iowa Race Weekend! With something for everyone on July 11-13, this event offers a great way to get involved during a major event unlike any other in the state of Iowa. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering or to sign up, please review the information below.

Volunteering FAQS
What is the minimum age for participants?
- We prefer all volunteers to be 18. However, volunteers can be 16 or 17 with a notarized waiver.
How long are event days?
- Approximate shift times are listed in the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend Volunteer Assignments document. Shift durations will be finalized closer to the event.
What if I can only work a portion of the shift?
- Individuals should only sign up to volunteer if they’re able to work the full shift length.
Is prior experience or training required?
- Previous volunteer experience is not required. Those signed up for shifts will be asked to take part in a mandatory training session. Details on trainings will be sent out later. Trainings will take place 3-4 weeks before the event and will be offered both in-person and virtually.
What if I have a group/non-profit interested in volunteering?
